GRAPE VARIETIES: 80% Syrah – 20% Grenache

SOIL: Mainly stony grounds, with schist and sandstone.

TASTING NOTES: Deep and strong in colour, dark garnet-red with purple glints.
The nose first develops liquorice scents, then aromas typical of a mature Syrah : blackcurrant and blackberry.
In the mouth, the wine is well-balanced with silky tannins.
Will age well.

VINIFICATION: De-stemmed harvest, maceration during 8 to 10 days with temperature control between 25 and 30°C.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Will go perfectly with red meat, dishes in sauce and game, or specialities from the south of France: confits, cassoulets…
Serve at 18°C.
Can be kept up to 5 years.
